Amazon Tally Integration

Nventory syncs products, ASINs, and inventory levels between Amazon Seller Central and Tally ERP. Orders import into Nventory's dashboard for centralized fulfillment management, while product and stock data stays aligned with Tally for GST-compliant accounting across FBA and MFN inventory.

Good to Know

Platform restrictions outside any integration tool's control

Voucher creation in Tally

Nventory does not create sales vouchers, purchase vouchers, or debit/credit notes in Tally. Amazon order data is in Nventory's dashboard; Tally voucher entries must be created separately.

Amazon TCS (Tax Collected at Source) reconciliation

Amazon deducts TCS on seller payouts per GST rules. Nventory does not reconcile TCS deductions against Tally entries. TCS reconciliation must be done manually or through Tally's GST features.

FBA inventory is read-only

Inventory stored in Amazon FBA warehouses is managed by Amazon. Nventory syncs FBA levels for visibility in Tally but cannot adjust FBA quantities — only MFN inventory is bidirectional.

GST return filing

Nventory syncs HSN codes and GST rates but does not file GST returns. GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and TCS credit in GSTR-2A/2B must be handled through Tally or a GST portal.

Things to Consider

Platform-specific details and how they affect this integration.

Challenge

Amazon India deducts 1% TCS (Tax Collected at Source) on seller payouts under GST rules. This TCS must be reconciled in Tally and claimed as credit in GSTR-2A. Without proper tracking, sellers lose TCS credit or face GST filing mismatches.

Nventory's Approach

Nventory syncs product data with GST attributes (HSN codes, rates) to Tally, ensuring stock items have the correct tax configuration. TCS reconciliation must be done in Tally using Amazon's payment reports, as Nventory does not manage TCS entries.

1

Connect Amazon & Tally

Authenticate Amazon Seller Central via SP-API and configure Tally Gateway Server connection. Nventory detects existing products and stock items in both systems.

2

Map Products, HSN Codes & Godowns

Link Amazon products to Tally stock items by seller SKU. Map HSN codes, GST rates, and Amazon inventory locations (FBA/MFN) to Tally godowns.

3

Sync Products & Inventory

Product details sync bidirectionally. MFN inventory syncs bidirectionally while FBA levels import for visibility. New products get GST attributes automatically.

4

Manage Orders in Nventory

Amazon orders import into Nventory's dashboard for tracking. Tally inventory adjusts as MFN orders are fulfilled.

Frequently Asked Questions

FBA inventory levels import into Tally for visibility (mapped to an FBA godown) but are read-only since Amazon manages FBA stock. MFN inventory syncs bidirectionally.

No. Nventory syncs products and inventory between Amazon and Tally. Orders are managed in Nventory's dashboard. Sales vouchers and other entries must be created in Tally separately.

Nventory does not manage TCS entries. Amazon deducts 1% TCS on seller payouts. TCS reconciliation and credit claim in GSTR-2A must be done through Tally using Amazon's payment settlement reports.

Nventory uses seller SKU as the primary matching key. ASINs are stored as metadata on Tally stock items. Products without matching SKUs are flagged for manual mapping before sync is enabled.

Yes. FBA inventory maps to an Amazon warehouse godown, MFN inventory maps to your warehouse godown. Additional godowns can be mapped during setup for multi-location sellers.

Yes. Tally is on-premise and must be running with Gateway Server active. Nventory queues changes during Tally downtime and syncs when connectivity is restored.
