Good to Know
Platform restrictions outside any integration tool's control
Wix's commerce API has a narrower feature set than Shopify or WooCommerce. Some product data fields (custom attributes, metafields) are limited, which restricts how much detail can be pulled from Wix for Amazon listing enrichment.
Wix does not support creating orders via API from external sources. Amazon orders cannot appear inside the Wix dashboard — they are managed through Nventory's unified order view instead.
Wix supports up to 6 product options with 30 choices each but has limited variant-level inventory tracking compared to platforms like Shopify. Complex Amazon ASIN structures may not map cleanly.
Enhanced brand content is managed in Seller Central. Wix's design-focused product pages cannot be replicated in Amazon's A+ Content format automatically.
Things to Consider
Platform-specific details and how they affect this integration.
Wix's commerce API exposes fewer product fields and less granular inventory control than platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce. Fields like custom product attributes, variant-specific images, and product metafields may not be available through the API, limiting the richness of data that can flow to Amazon. This makes Amazon listing creation more reliant on Nventory's enrichment layer.
Nventory supplements Wix product data with an enrichment interface where you can add Amazon-required fields (bullet points, product type, brand) that Wix does not capture. These supplemental fields live in Nventory and merge with Wix data during feed generation.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Wix does not offer a native Amazon channel. Nventory fills this gap by connecting your Wix store to Amazon Seller Central with automated product, inventory, and order synchronization.
Not at all. Nventory's setup is designed for non-technical users. If you can manage your Wix store, you can connect it to Amazon through our guided wizard.
Nventory enriches your Wix product data with the additional attributes Amazon requires — product type, brand, GTINs, and category-specific details — so listings pass Amazon's validation.
Amazon orders are synced to your centralized Nventory dashboard, giving you a single view of all orders from both Wix and Amazon for streamlined processing.
Nventory syncs Wix and Amazon inventory in near real-time, typically within 2-5 minutes. Since Wix does not support webhooks for inventory changes, Nventory uses polling to detect stock updates and pushes them to Amazon before overselling can occur.
Amazon orders are imported into Nventory's centralized dashboard for fulfillment, and inventory is automatically adjusted on your Wix store. Wix does not support external order creation via API, so order management happens in Nventory rather than in the Wix dashboard directly.
Wix's API has known limitations around complex product variants — if your products use more than six options or have deeply nested variant structures, some combinations may not transfer to Amazon correctly. Check that all required fields for Amazon listings (such as weight, category, and brand) are populated in your Wix catalog, as missing required fields will cause listing creation to fail silently. Additionally, Wix does not support real-time webhooks for all data types, so Nventory relies on scheduled polling — ensure your Nventory polling interval is set appropriately for your sales volume.
