Marketplace Requirements at a Glance

• Amazon — Main image must be 2000×2000px with a pure white (#FFFFFF) background. Images under 1000px won't qualify for zoom.
• eBay — Recommends 1600×1600px for gallery images. Listings with high-resolution photos receive up to 5% more bids.
• Shopify — Supports up to 2048×2048px. Consistent image dimensions across your store create a professional, cohesive look.
• Etsy — Listing images should be 2000×2000px for best results. File size is capped at 1 MB, so compression matters.
• Walmart — Primary images require 2000×2000px with a white background. Non-compliant images may be suppressed.
• TikTok Shop — Product images should be at least 800×800px. Clear, well-lit photos perform best in the short-video format.

Choosing the Right Resize Mode

Maintain Aspect Ratio is the safest choice for most sellers. It preserves the original proportions of your product image and fills any remaining space with a clean white background — which is required by Amazon and Walmart.

Crop to Fit works well when you have extra whitespace or background and want the product to fill the entire frame. The tool scales the image to cover the target area and crops from the center.

Stretch should be used sparingly. It forces the image into the exact target dimensions, which can distort the product if the aspect ratios don't match. Best for images that are already very close to the target ratio.
