Amazon Flipkart Integration

Nventory syncs inventory between Amazon and Flipkart and imports orders from both marketplaces into a single dashboard. Stock levels stay accurate across both platforms — when a sale happens on one, Nventory immediately adjusts availability on the other.

Good to Know

Platform restrictions outside any integration tool's control

GST compliance and tax invoicing

India's GST (Goods and Services Tax) compliance, including HSN codes and tax invoicing, is managed within each marketplace's seller portal. Nventory syncs inventory and orders but does not manage tax filings or GST returns.

Flipkart Ekart logistics routing

Flipkart's Ekart logistics network handles pickup, sorting, and delivery routing internally. Nventory tracks shipment status but does not control Ekart's logistics operations.

Flipkart Smart Fulfillment enrollment

Enrollment in Flipkart's fulfillment programs requires separate application through Flipkart Seller Hub. Nventory connects to existing fulfillment accounts but cannot manage program enrollment.

Customer identity and contact data

Both Amazon India and Flipkart own the customer relationship. Buyer data is anonymized and cannot be exported or shared between marketplaces.

Things to Consider

Platform-specific details and how they affect this integration.

Challenge

Flipkart's Big Billion Days and Amazon's Great Indian Festival typically run within the same week in October. Both events generate massive demand spikes simultaneously. Without pre-planned inventory allocation, one event can cannibalize the other, leaving either Amazon or Flipkart with stockouts during India's biggest shopping week.

Nventory's Approach

Nventory supports pre-configured sale event allocation rules. Reserve specific quantities for Big Billion Days and Great Indian Festival independently. Each marketplace draws from its reserved pool during the event. Unsold event inventory auto-releases to the shared pool when the event ends.

Who Uses Amazon Flipkart Integration

Common scenarios for connecting Amazon and Flipkart.

A consumer electronics brand selling on both Amazon India and Flipkart who needs accurate stock allocation during overlapping sale festivals
A fashion brand with FBA India and Flipkart Fulfillment inventory that needs both networks coordinated with warehouse stock
An FMCG seller managing thousands of SKUs across both Indian marketplaces from regional distribution centers
A global brand entering India through Amazon.in and Flipkart simultaneously, needing unified inventory operations from day one

1

Connect Amazon India and Flipkart

Authenticate your Amazon Seller Central (India marketplace) and Flipkart Seller Hub accounts in Nventory. Both product catalogs import during the initial sync.

2

Map Product Catalogs

Nventory matches Amazon India ASINs to Flipkart product IDs using shared SKUs, EANs, or manual mapping. Category-specific attributes are handled per marketplace.

3

Configure Sale Event Rules

Pre-allocate inventory for Big Billion Days, Great Indian Festival, Republic Day sales, and other major events on each marketplace independently.

4

Enable Continuous Sync

Inventory, orders, and tracking flow through Nventory between Amazon India and Flipkart in real time. Dashboard alerts notify you of allocation imbalances and sync issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Nventory tracks fulfillable inventory in both Amazon FBA India warehouses and Flipkart Fulfillment centers, giving you a complete view of stock across both managed fulfillment networks.

Nventory lets you pre-allocate specific quantities for each sale event. Each marketplace draws from its reserved pool during the event, preventing one sale from cannibalizing the other.

Yes. Nventory imports both Flipkart replacement orders and Amazon return requests. Inventory is adjusted based on whether a replacement ships or a return is received and restocked.

Nventory tracks FBA inventory across all Amazon India fulfillment centers. Combined with your own warehouse stock and Flipkart Fulfillment counts, you see total India sellable inventory in one dashboard.

Nventory focuses on inventory and order synchronization. GST invoicing and tax compliance are managed within each marketplace's seller portal, but Nventory ensures order data flows correctly for your accounting systems.

Flipkart uses its own FSN (Flipkart Serial Number) system that does not map directly to Amazon ASINs, so product linking must go through shared SKUs, EANs, or manual overrides. Regional catalog differences also cause issues — a product variant available on Amazon India may not exist in Flipkart's catalog, or Flipkart may require additional seller verification documents before allowing a listing. Use Nventory's mapping report to identify unlinked products and verify that your Flipkart seller account has been approved for all the categories you sell on Amazon India.

Amazon India FBA and Flipkart Fulfillment (Ekart) operate entirely separate logistics networks with different warehouse locations and delivery coverage, so a pincode serviceable by FBA may not be reachable through Flipkart's network and vice versa. Check pincode serviceability for both platforms to ensure your listings accurately reflect delivery availability. Also verify COD (cash on delivery) eligibility settings, as Flipkart and Amazon India have different COD thresholds and the mismatch can cause order routing failures in Nventory if a COD order is accepted on one platform but the fulfillment method does not support it.
