Fulfillments
Manage order fulfillment, stock locations, and tracking across channels.
Nventory provides centralized fulfillment management across all your connected platforms. Create stock locations, fulfill orders, and track shipments from a single dashboard.
How Fulfillment Works
- Order placed on any platform.
- Order appears in Nventory.
- Pick items from a stock location.
- Create a fulfillment with tracking.
- Status syncs back to the platform.
- Customer gets a tracking notification.
Key Concepts
| Concept | Description |
|---|---|
| Stock Location | A physical place where you store inventory (warehouse, store, etc.) |
| Fulfillment | The act of shipping one or more items from an order |
| Location Mapping | Connecting a platform's locations to Nventory stock locations |
| Tracking | Carrier tracking numbers and URLs attached to fulfillments |
Fulfillment status syncs bidirectionally. If you fulfill an order in Nventory, the status updates on Shopify/WooCommerce automatically. If fulfilled on the platform, it syncs back to Nventory.
